Portraits in the genre of the Fauves. See the example of Matisse's Woman with a Green Stripe, who is Matisse's wife.

Here's my Matisse-type portrait! Maybe I didn't use enough wild colours.
I don't like it much. But then, dare I say it?
I don't much like Matisse's paintings either!

The above was 'hand-painted'.

I then used this photo.

I put it through a number of blends using Image\Arithmetic.
I saved the ones that looked at all like fauvist style as follows:-
